Overview
The main goals of a library’s circulation department are to charge out items to registered users and receive and process returned items. Because record keeping plays an important role in every aspect of circulation, constant updating of the records is needed. In an integrated system, many types of records work together to perform a variety of functions. The Circulation module manages user, item (copy), charge (checkout), hold (hold request), and bill (fine/fee) information.

This group is not visible for libraries on ISAM systems, as Cash Management functionality is not supported for ISAM systems for SirsiDynix Symphony 3.7.1.

The Item Search and Display wizard, Check Item Status wizard, and Help and Print buttons also appear on the toolbar.
Set Properties may display as the first step of some wizards. Click OK to accept the default values.
