Count Holds Report
The Count Holds (Holdcnt) report counts selected items with holds and/or selected users’ holds in the database. By default, only ACTIVE holds are selected. Holds that are selected may have been placed in WorkFlows by library staff or by library patrons accessing iBistro or WebCat.

In most reports that contain an Item Selection tab, only titles with attached copies can be selected. However, because holds can be placed on titles without copies, if item selections are specified by the user, then the item selections are used. This will cause the typical error 111 messages to be written to the log file when a call number record does not have an item record. What this means is that holds on titles without items can only be selected by these reports if the user does not make any copy level selections. As soon as the user makes a item level selection, the titles without items will be listed in the report as error 111 messages.
This report is on the Circulation tab of reports.
The results of this report are embedded in the report log. Do not select to view, print, or email results only, or the system will return an error message. In the View Finished Reports window, if you select the View Results check box but do not select the Format Report check box, WordPad may open and begin the unformatted report output with the following formatting text:
