User Status Selection Tab

The User Status Selection tab contains fields to be used by the report in selecting user records by user status and estimated fines. This tab may contain any of the following fields.

Delinquency Type

Users selected by the report have a status with the one of the selected delinquency types (OK, DELINQUENT, BLOCKED, or BARRED). Selecting users by delinquency type allows you to select users without regard to the actual delinquency status.

For example, in the User Standing policy, a library defined 10 different user statuses that all have the Delinquency Type attribute set to DELINQUENT. Selecting DELINQUENT in the Delinquency Type field of the User Status Selection report tab will select all users with any of the 10 user statuses for the report.

Use the Policy List gadget to add or remove a delinquency type. If no value is selected, all delinquency types are included.

Refer to the User Standing Policy Wizard topic for more information about the User Standing policy and the Delinquency Type attribute.

Delinquency Status

Users selected by the report have one of the selected user statuses. The user statuses are OK, DELINQUENT, BLOCKED, BARRED, or a custom user status defined by the User Standing Policy wizard. Use the Policy List gadget to add or remove a delinquency status. If no value is selected, all delinquency statuses are included. If your library system is configured to track user status by library group, this selection is based on the delinquency status of the users in the bill maintenance library group of the workstation library associated with the staff scheduling the report only. If your library system does not track user status by library group, then this selection is based on the delinquency status of each selected user across all libraries in the system.

Estimated Fines

Users selected by the report have a total amount of estimated fines in the specified range, or of the selected amount. Estimated fines are the total of the fine amount for individual current overdue charges. Use the Amount Range gadget to specify the estimated fines amount. If your library system is configured to track user status by library group, this selection is based on the estimated fines for checked out material in bill maintenance library group of the workstation library of the staff scheduling the report only. If your library system does not track user status by library group, then this selection is based on the estimated fines for checked out material across all libraries in the system.
