Order From Selection List Wizard
The Order From Selection List wizard guides you through the process of retrieving a selection list and using it as a source for creating orders. Orders can be generated in three ways: one order per selection list with one orderline for each list line, one order per list line, or one order per vendor. Make your selection in wizard properties. The selection list decision records will populate the order and orderline fields accordingly.
The following steps are for creating One Order Per Selection List. To create one order per selection list line, see Selection List Ordering – One Order Per List Line. To create one order per vendor, see Selection List Ordering – One Order Per Vendor.
If you will always allow individual, multiple vendors to be maintained in the selection lists being ordered, then do not use the One Order Per Selection List option. Use one of the other options, and retain either option for all order processing. Use the Display Selection List wizard to verify whether or not multiple vendors were used in a selection list before using the Order From Selection List wizard. See Selection List Ordering Options for more information.
