Order From Selection List Wizard Properties
You can change certain system settings and defaults for the Order From Selection List wizard using the Set Properties window. The Order From Selection List wizard allows the following properties to be set.
Display Property Page
You can choose when to display the Order From Selection List wizard’s Set Properties window by selecting one of the following options.
| • | Wizard Startup – Displays the Set Properties window the first time you access the wizard until you end the wizard session or log off the client. |
| • | Never – Does not display the Set Properties window the first time you access the wizard. If Never is selected and you want to open the Set Properties window, point to the wizard’s toolbar button, right-click, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu. |
Depending on the value selected in Display Property Page, defaults may appear as the first step of the wizard. Property values that are changed in the first step of a wizard are retained only until the right-click method is used to set properties.
Behavior
In Behavior properties, you can specify whether to allow the following functions when ordering from selection lists.
| • | Review Orderlines – Select this check box to review each individual orderline created by the wizard. If this property is not selected, the wizard will take you directly to the Order Summary without reviewing orderlines. Warnings may display when you review orderlines; these warnings will not display if this property is not selected. |
| • | Turn Off Title Shadow Flag for Ordered Titles – Select this check box to automatically clear the catalog shadow flag for each selection list title ordered using this wizard. |
Defaults
On the Defaults tab, you can set defaults to customize your use of the wizard.
Selection List Search Preferences
You can preset the following search preferences.
| • | Preferred Search Type – Select one of the search method options, either Search or Exact. Search is the default search preference type. |
| • | Preferred Search Index – Select a search index from the list. The default value is List ID. |
Order Information
You can preset the following ordering preferences.
| • | Order ID – Click either One Order Per Selection List, One Order Per List Line, or One Order Per Vendor. One Order Per Selection List is the default. |
Note One Order Per Vendor will not display if the Enter Listline Vendor Session Settings property is cleared. When this property is cleared, One Order Per Vendor behaves the same as One Order Per Selection List.
| • | Vendor – Select a default vendor for orders by typing a Vendor ID or using the Browse Vendor gadget. |
| • | Order Type – Select a default order type from the list. |
| • | Date Ready – Type T for TODAY, N for NEVER, or type a date in the required date format. The default is TODAY. |
If the Enter Date Ready value is disabled in Acquisitions Session Settings this field will not be editable. In addition, the default for the Date Ready property (regardless of setting) will be NEVER.
Helpers
On the Helpers tab, you can select to display the Display Bibliographic Description Helper. Click the Display Bibliographic Description button to display the helper properties that you can set.
