Reset Item Counters Report
The Reset Item Counters (Itemcntreset) report is used to reset the counters for the interval item statistical fields: Interval Checkouts, Interval Renewals, and Interval Start Date. You run this report after running the Item Circulation Count Report. The Item Circulation Count report is used to capture item checkout and renewal statistics at pre-determined intervals (daily, weekly, or monthly).
This Reset Item Counters report should be scheduled to run at the same interval (daily, weekly, or monthly) after the Item Circulation Count report. It is recommended that the report be run on the same date/interval once the library has decided upon a statistical time interval that suits their needs.
The Reset Item Counters report allows selection of items by library or a list of libraries, and when run, will reset checkout/renewal counters to zero (0) and reset the interval start date to the report run date.

The Ongoing Checkouts and Ongoing Renewals fields are not modified by these reports. These fields will continue to count total checkouts and renewals for the item.

The workstation server needs to be running to schedule and run this report, or the report will fail. Do not halt the SirsiDynix Symphony Workstation server until the report displays on the finished reports list.
The Reset Item Counters report is in the Bibliographic report group.
