List Purchase Alerts Report

The List Purchase Alerts (Purchalert) report assists in the task of identifying items that are in high demand so that additional copies may be considered for purchase. It produces a list of items based on a specified number of ACTIVE holds.

This report contains the following tabs.

The only selection options available in this report are the Hold Count option on the Hold Count tab, and the Item Library on the Hold Selection tab.

On the Hold Count tab, use the Number Range gadget in the Hold Count field to select the established number of holds you want to meet or exceed. On the Hold Selection tab, use the Library gadget in the Item Library field to select one or more libraries.

In the report output, each title is printed only once. Each title indicates the number of holds, the number of copies that are already associated with the title, and the number of copies that are currently on order. When holds are counted for a title, the count is based on the Hold Group Libraries attribute of the station library associated with the staff scheduling the report. Only ACTIVE holds placed by users or staff in the libraries specified in the Hold Group Libraries attribute of that Library policy in the General Configuration will be counted.
