Add Title Wizard Properties

You can change current system settings in the Add Title wizard using the Set Properties window. The Add Title wizard allows you to set the following properties.

Display Property Page

You can choose when to display the Add Title wizard’s Set Properties window by selecting one of the following options.

Wizard Startup—Displays the Set Properties window the first time you access the wizard until you end the wizard session or log off the client.
Never—Does not display the Set Properties window the first time you access the wizard. If Never is selected and you want to open the Set Properties window, point to the wizard’s toolbar button, right-click, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu.

Depending on the value selected in Display Property Page, defaults may appear as the first step of the wizard. Property values that are changed in the first step of a wizard are retained only until the right-click method is used to set properties.

When the item is scanned in a circulation wizard, this location will be automatically removed.

If the new behavior property is disabled, the item is saved as normal and no labels are sent to the printer. When disabled, the Print Preview or Print Labels helper must be used to print a label. This property is delivered disabled by default.

Note: For more information about printing labels, see FAQs: Automatically Printing Labels When New Items Are Added.

If enabled, the following options are available.

Print Preview—If the new property is enabled and the Print Preview option is selected, the Print Preview helper opens immediately after a new item is saved so that the user may edit labels before printing, or select a different label template.
Use Label Template Profiles—If selected, the wizard will use the label template assigned for this library/item type combination found in the Label Template Profiles Map policies. This property applies to both the Automatically and Print Preview properties. You cannot select this property if the Prompt for Label Template property is also selected.
