Register New User Helper
The Register New User helper is used to register a new user. New users often need to be registered during the checkout process. Once the user is registered, you can check out materials to the new user, review the user information, or make additional changes to the new user record.
To register a new user

Click the Register New User helper. |

In the User ID box, scan the user’s ID. |
|

In the Profile Name list, select the user profile you want. |

Click each tab in the User Registration window to add information about a user and his or her access. For more information on the fields used in the User Registration tabs, go to User Information Tabs. |

Select the Allow Routing check box to allow serials to be routed to the user. |

|
If the duplication checking property is off, click Register User. |
Or, if the duplication checking property is on, click Check Duplicate User.

|
After registering the new user, you can make more changes or return to the wizard. |
