Check Duplicate User
When using the New User Registration wizard to register a new user, you can check for duplicate user records. To do this, go to the User Duplicate Searching section of the Behavior tab on the New User Registration wizard properties and set the Duplication Checking option to On. Duplication Checking On performs user duplication checking to see if the current user being registered is already in the user record database. If this property is set to On, you can select the user record fields you want to search (up to eight fields) to see if the current user being registered could be a duplicate of an existing user record.
To see if the current user being registered is already in the user record database
1 | After entering user registration information, click Check Duplicate User. |
2 | If duplicates are found, a list of users displays in the hit list. |
If you want to view the full user record for each match to determine if it is a duplicate record, click the Display User helper.
After viewing each record, click Close to close the Display User window.
3 | If a record is a duplicate, click Cancel to return to the User Registration window. You can register another user or close the wizard. |
4 | If there are no duplicate records in the system, click Register User. |

You have not provided date for duplicate user checking. Would you like to register the new user?

After a new user is registered, select one of the following options:
• | Close to close the wizard. |
• | Modify to modify user registration information. |
• | Register Another User to continue. |
