Item Search Helper
The Item Search helper is used to display item information. Using the Item Search helper, you can perform a Keyword, Browse, or Exact search. If item information was recently displayed, modified, or added, you can do a Current search.

If a list of items displays, select an item, and then continue the process. |
Alternatively, you can scan an item and display its information using an RFID pad. If you scan more than one item while the Item Search helper is open, the helper will display the record for the last item the RFID pad device scanned. Use the Left Arrow button (
) to view the record for a previously scanned item, and the Right Arrow button (
) to view the record for an item scanned after the currently displaying item.
If you place a new item on the RFID pad device while viewing a record accessed by the Left Arrow button, WorkFlows immediately displays the record for the new item. To view the record you had been viewing previously, you will need to use the Left Arrow button to navigate to that record again.
WorkFlows only maintains the item information for display for up to twenty (20) scanned items. If you scan any more than twenty items, you will need to scan the first items again if you want to view their information.
The Circulation Libraries attribute of the Library policy controls which libraries’ catalog records you can search, display, create, and modify.
You can print item information by selecting the Print command from the File menu, or by clicking the Print wizard, if present, on the toolbar.
