Order Files to Load Tab: MARC Order Import Utility Wizard
The Order Files to Load tab in the MARC Order Import Utility wizard allows you to view order data files that have been imported, edit and load order data files, and to remove obsolete order data files.
Sorting the List of Order Data Files
The list of order data files can be sorted to make it easier to find the file you want to view, load, or remove.
To sort the list of order data files

In the MARC Order Import Utility wizard, click the Order Files to Load tab. |

Select one of the following Sort By options. |

Date sorts the files by date in ascending order. |
|

Library Policy Number sorts the list by the each library’s library policy number in ascending order. To see a list of Library policy numbers, names, and descriptions, click the Library Policy Number Helper. |

Click Cancel to exit the MARC Order Import Utility wizard. |
Viewing Order Data Files
To view order data files

In the MARC Order Import Utility wizard, click the Order Files to Load tab. |
|

Under File List, a list of order data files that have already been imported appears. Order data files are stored in the /Unicorn/Marcordimp/Orders directory. |

Select a file, and click View. Your word processing package starts, and the file in flat ASCII format appears. |
|

When you have finished viewing the file, close the word processor window. |
|

Click Cancel to exit the MARC Order Import Utility wizard. |
Editing and Loading Order Record Files
To edit and load order data files

In the MARC Order Import Utility wizard, click the Order Files to Load tab. |

Under File List, a list of order data files that have already been imported appears. Order data files are stored in the /Unicorn/Marcordimp/Orders directory. |

Select a file, and click Edit. Your word processing package starts, and the file in flat ASCII format appears. |

If desired, make changes to the order data file. When you have finished viewing the file, close the word processor window. |
|

Click Upload. (The Edit option changes to Upload after you close the word processor window.) |
|

|
Click Cancel to exit the MARC Order Import Utility wizard. |
Removing Obsolete Order Data Files
To conserve disk space, order data files should be removed periodically.
To remove an order data file

In the MARC Order Import Utility wizard, click the Order Files to Load tab. |
|
2
|
Under File List, a list of order data files that have already been imported appears. Select a file, and click Remove. |
|

|
Click Cancel to exit the MARC Order Import Utility wizard. |
