Order Error Files Tab: MARC Order Import Utility Wizard
The Order Error Files tab in the MARC Order Import Utility wizard allows you to view or copy order record load error files, and to remove obsolete order record load error files.

Sorting the List of Order Load Error Files
The list of order load error files can be sorted to make it easier to find the file you want to view, copy, or remove.
To sort the list of order load error files

In the MARC Order Import Utility wizard, click the Order Error Files tab. |

Select one of the following Sort By options. |
|

Date sorts the files by date in ascending order. |
|

Library Policy Number sorts the list by the each library’s library policy number in ascending order. To see a list of Library policy numbers, names, and descriptions, click the Library Policy Number helper. |

Click Cancel to exit the MARC Order Import Utility wizard. |
Viewing Order Load Error Files
To select and view order load error files

In the MARC Order Import Utility wizard, click the Order Error Files tab. |

Under File List, a list of order load error files for order records that were not successfully loaded into the database displays. Order load error files are in flat ASCII format, and are stored in the /Unicorn/Marcordimp/Orders/Error directory. Select a file in the list, and click View. Your word processing package starts, and the file in flat ASCII format appears. |

When you have finished viewing the file, close the word processor window. |

Click Cancel to exit the MARC Order Import Utility wizard. |
Copying Order Load Error Files
You can copy an order load error file from the /Unicorn/Marcordimp/Orders/Error directory to the /Unicorn/Marcordimp/Orders directory so the order records can be loaded into the database.
To copy an order load error file

In the MARC Order Import Utility wizard, click the Order Error Files tab. |

Under File List, a list of order load error files appears. Select a file, and click Copy. |

Click Cancel to exit the MARC Order Import Utility wizard. |
Removing Obsolete Order Load Error Files
To conserve disk space, order load error files should be removed periodically.
To remove an order load error file

In the MARC Order Import Utility wizard, click the Order Error Files tab. |

Under File List, a list of order load error files appears. Select a file, and click Remove. |

Click Cancel to exit the MARC Order Import Utility wizard. |
