Finished Reports Wizard

The Finished Reports wizard displays reports that have completed processing and are available for viewing, printing, or distributing. The wizard provides options for you to view, print, email, or remove the scheduled reports, change the report scheduling settings, or change the report ownership.

To use the Finished Reports wizard

If you configured the report to produce XML output, the Style Sheet field displays for you to select the XSL file that WorkFlows is to use to format the report output when displaying the report.

Important: If you configured the report to produce XML output, the View Finished Report options display instead when you click Print. Since the XML output cannot be printed with pass-through printing, the XML output displays in the default browser window using the XSL file specified in the Style Sheet field. To print the XML report output, use the Print option in the browser window.

You can easily remove multiple reports at one time using the keyboard shortcuts SHIFT+select (mouse click or press the UP or DOWN ARROW key) or CTRL+select. Highlight the group using either method, press SPACEBAR to select the remove check boxes, then press ENTER or click Remove.

Note: The Ownership option is available only to user logins with a SirsiDynix Symphony administrator user level.

Important Considerations When Using this Wizard

If you selected Microsoft Word as the default print application in Session Settings, note that it does not support pass-through printing. The report will open, and you must click the Print button in Word to print the report.
If the report is configured to produce XML output, the View Finished Report options display instead when you click Print. XML output cannot be printed with pass-through printing. You must view the finished report in the default browser window, then use the Print function in the browser window to print the XML report results.
The Fixed Format Manager helper is available for managing pipe-delimited, XML, and XLS (Microsoft Excel spreadsheet) report output files.
The Host Timeout attribute in the Environment wizard is used as the timeout value for displaying a large finished report. If you have difficulty displaying large finished reports, increase the value in the Host Timeout attribute. The attribute accepts values from 0 to 500 seconds.
