Remove Route Wizard
The Remove Route wizard is used to delete an outreach route record. This wizard is part of the Route Information and Maintenance wizard group on the Outreach toolbar.
To delete an outreach route
| 1 | In the Route Information and Maintenance group, click the Remove Route wizard. |
The Remove Route window displays.
| 2 | Use the Route Search window to search for the outreach route record you want to remove. |
If a list of matching route records displays, select a route and click Remove Route.
| 3 | The Remove Route window displays the selected outreach route record. Review the information on the Route tab and the Outreach Users tab to verify that the selected route is the one you want to delete, and that no outreach users are currently assigned to the route. |
| 4 | Click Remove Route to remove the outreach route record. |
| 5 | Click OK to close the message confirming the route removal. |
If the route selected for removal has outreach users currently assigned to it, the following message displays, and the route is not removed.
A route with outreach users cannot be removed.
Use the Modify Outreach User tool on the Outreach Users tab to assign all of the users to another outreach route, then click Remove Route to remove the outreach route.
