What reports can I use to search interests and suggest items for users?

The following reports can be used to search interest profiles and suggest items for outreach users.

The Search User Interest Records report searches the active interests of selected users, and places as many title level holds on items retrieved for the delivery as specified by the Total Items Requested field in the outreach user records. The range of the title level hold is determined by the Range for Outreach Holds attribute in the Outreach wizard. (The Outreach wizard is in the Module Configuration Wizards group on the Configuration toolbar.)

SirsiDynix Symphony automatically creates history records with a status of SELECT for items retrieved by this report.

The Search Route Interest Records report searches the active interests of users on a specific outreach route, and places as many title level holds on items retrieved for the delivery as specified by the Total Items Requested field in the outreach user records. What is the difference between the Search User Interest Records report and the Suggest User Interest Records report?

The reports function in exactly the same way, except the Suggest User Interest Records report does not place holds on the selected items. The Suggest User Interest Records report only lists suggested items for the active interests.
