Replace Item Helper

The Replace Item helper allows you to modify the item that belongs to a booking record. The item can be replaced by any other copy from the same title as long as the replacement copy is linked to the same booking profile and belongs to the same media desk as the copy being replaced.

To replace the item that belongs to a booking record

Click the Replace Item helper.

On the Call Number/Item tab, select the copy you want to be part of the booking record. Information about the copy displays to the right of the call number list.

If desired, click the Description tab to see bibliographic information for the selected copy.

Click OK to return to the Booking Info tab to see the change to Item ID, Call Number, and Item information.
