Modify Item Bookings Wizard

The Modify Item Bookings wizard is used to make changes to the booking record.

To modify a booking record

1 Click the Modify Item Bookings wizard. The Item Search window appears.
2 Use Item Search to search for the booking you want to modify. With the Modify Item Bookings wizard, you have the additional search option of Job ID. If a Current record exists for the item, click the Current information link to access the last record displayed, modified, or added. If a booking record has been recently displayed, modified or added there will also be an option to select the Current Booking record.
3 If your search finds results, a list of matching records displays in the hit list area. If the Viewer is turned on, the selected title will display in the lower portion of the window with two tabs, Description and Call Number/Item. Select the item you want to modify, and then click Modify Booking.
4 You can further filter your search result by pickup library, booking start date and booking end date.

Your search result shows a list of bookings (Bookings Tab) containing the following fields.

• Name
• Pickup Library
• Item Library
• Patron Booking Starts
• Patron Booking Ends
• Start Preparation
• Cleanup Ends
• Date Charged
5 Select the booking record you wish to modify, and click Modify Booking. If the booking has been checked out, discharged or has expired, the booking will not be able to be modified and appropriate messages will display.
6 Use the Replace Item Helper to change which copy of a title is booked.
7 Click each tab as needed to make changes to the existing booking record.

On the Booking Info Tab, you may edit the following information

• Pickup library
• Delivery shipping
• Return shipping
• Patron booking start date (if fixed time slots are not used)
• Patron booking end date (if fixed time slots are not used)
• Fixed time slot (if fixed time slots are used)
8 Make changes to the fields on the Extended Information Tab as necessary.
9 After modifying booking information, click Modify Booking.

After modifying an item’s bookings, click one of the following options.

• Make More Changes to make more changes to this item’s bookings
• Return to Search to return to the search list
• New Search to search a new item’s bookings
• Close to exit the wizard
