WorkFlows delivers a set of default icons that display within the screen interface of a configured signature pad device; you can modify these icons or, if you prefer, replace the icons with your own custom icons.
Your custom icons must match the dimensions of the delivered icons and must not exceed 8 KB in size. The file names of each of your custom icon image files must also be the same as the delivered icon image files.
The signature pad devices can only render images in black and white, so be sure any replacements or modifications to the delivered image files are in black and white.
To customize your signature pad device icons
| 1 | If you want to use your own image files, create your icons and save them in the JPG format. If you want to modify the delivered image files directly, skip to Step 2. |
| 2 | Navigate to the /Unicorn/Custom/Signature directory on your SirsiDynix Symphony server. |
| 3 | To change the icons the signature pad uses, do one of the following: |
| • | Open and modify the icons in an image editor. |
Note: Only modify the images ending in .jpg. The images ending in .jpg.deliv are intended for backup purposes. For more information on restoring the default signature pad icons, see Restoring the original icons for the signature pad.
| • | Replace the image files of the icons you want to change with your custom icon image files. |
| 4 | If you have WorkFlows open, close and reopen WorkFlows. |
Your customized images are now ready to be used by the signature pad device.
