User PIN Change Gadget
The User PIN Change gadget lets you see the library’s PIN policy as you set the PIN for a new or existing user. In this way you can make sure the new PIN meets all the security requirements set by the system administrator.
You can access the User PIN Change gadget on the Privilege tab of the Modify User and the New User Registration wizards, which are both on the Circulation page. The User PIN Change gadget is to the right of the PIN field.

To change a user PIN with the User PIN Change gadget
| 1 | Review the User PIN policy in the User PIN frame. |
| 2 | Specify the desired PIN in the PIN field. |
As the PIN meets each requirement, a small, grey check mark displays in the box to the right of that requirement.
| 3 | After you specify a new PIN, choose OK to close the gadget. |
The new PIN displays in the PIN field on the main screen.
