Pay Bills Helper
The Pay Bills Helper is used to accept bill payment during another Circulation activity. This helper is only available when the identified user has unpaid bills. A payment can be made for a single bill or applied to the total bill.
If you select an item or group of items in the bills list and right-click, a circulation menu opens. From this menu, you can perform a variety of circulation tasks. See Right-click Menus.

Once a bill has been paid, you can review the payment or continue the current process. If bills are not paid in full, you can also make more payments. |
If a patron credit account exists but is closed, the bill payment is denied. The bill can be paid using a form of payment other than CREDITACCT (credit account).
If the Deletion of Items with Bills feature is enabled and an item associated with a bill has been deleted from the catalog, the item ID field for that item will be blank.
The display of the Tax and Note columns is controlled by the Show bill tax and Show bill note properties respectively, which you can set in the Pay Bills Helper Properties. However, in bill glossaries, the Tax and Note fields and anything they may contain always display, regardless of how you have set the Show bill tax and Show bill note properties.
