Holds Tab for the Item Search and Display Wizard
In the Item Search and Display wizard, the Holds tab lists holds associated with a specific item. Title-level holds also appear. Display Options allow you to customize the hold information display. Using Display Options, you can display all holds, available holds, active holds, inactive holds, recalled holds, or reserve holds.
The holds appear in a table. Click the column headers to sort the holds. You can also change the order of the fields by clicking a column header and dragging it to a new position.
When displaying holds associated with a specific item, this tab contains the following information.

The following fields are defined for the Holds tab for the Item Search and Display wizard.
The Number of Records field reflects the total number current holds on any of the copies, across all volumes, call numbers, and libraries associated with this title.
This field shows the ID of the user who has placed a hold on this item.
This field displays user’s name. The display of the user’s name is configurable. By default, the Name field displays Last Name Suffx, First Name Middle Title.
If the user’s Preferred Name is selected to display instead the the user’s first name, then the Name field displays Last Name, Suffix, Preferred Name Middle Title.
This field specifies the extent of hold that is placed on one or more items.
This field shows the status of the hold. The hold may be available or unavailable for pickup.
The hold range is a collection of item records. In Demand Management, the hold level is applied across a range of records. The range can be a System range, a Group range, or Library range.
This field contains the date the hold was placed.
This field contains the last date the user is interested in receiving the item placed on hold.
This field contains the date the hold pickup notice is generated. This notice lets the patron know his hold is ready to be picked up.
This field specifies the type of recall that has been placed or is to be placed on an item. The recall types are Allow Recall, No Recall, and Recall Now (RUSH). The recall type is set in the Place Hold wizard, and can be changed with the Modify User Holds wizard or the Modify Item Holds wizard.
This field indicates whether an override was used to place this hold.
This field indicates the library where the user will pick up the materials.
This field indicates the library where the hold was placed.
This field indicates the library that owns the item.
This field allows text to be entered to describe a hold, or to include special information about the hold.
The Date Suspended field contains the date on which the suspension of a hold begins. The hold suspension begins at 00:01 on the specified date.
The Date Unsuspended field contains the date on which the suspension of a hold ends. The hold suspension ends at 23:59 on the specified date.
