Barcode Verify Wizard
The Barcode Verify wizard allows you to test your library’s existing barcodes/IDs to see if they conform to one of the delivered barcode formats. This wizard helps you determine which formats need to be selected in the Barcode Validation wizard so that validation will work with your existing barcodes. See the Barcode Validation Wizard topic for more information.
The Barcode Verify wizard appears on the Overview and Overview toolbars.
The testing of individual barcodes should be done when you are configuring your system to use barcode validation.
If your barcode formats do not comply, and you require additional format configurations, contact your library’s SirsiDynix Client Account Manager.

Note: The Barcode Modified field indicates if the barcode was modified during validation. There are some supported formats that remove characters from the barcode as part of the validation process. When the barcode is scanned, the validation may strip certain numbers (such as check digit), and the modified barcode is what is stored in the database.
