The following fields are defined for the Decision tab.
The user access of the user who created (or duplicated) the record displays in this field.
Automatically supplied by the system, the date that a record was created (or duplicated) displays in this field. This date is automatically maintained by SirsiDynix Symphony and cannot be modified.
This field contains the date the record was last modified. This information is automatically updated by the system. NEVER is the value for records not modified since the record was created.
To make a decision about whether or not to buy a title listed on a selection list, choose either BUY, DONTBUY, or MAYBE from the list.
In a distribution segment, the Distributed Quantity field contains the number of items (quantity) associated with this holding code or user distribution.
Each master fund record must be assigned a unique identifier. The fund ID is basically a short fund name.
For fundings and distributions, selecting a holding code designates holding characteristics to be assigned to the item when you load the line item in the catalog. A Holding Code policy can define the owning library, the item type, the location, the item categories, permanence, and circulating permissions. The default holding code that automatically displays in this field may be set in the wizard’s properties.
This value refers to the number of copies of a title that the selectors want to order. If orders are created from the selection list, this value will be used for the number of copies to order.
In a funding segment, this field contains the number of items being funded by the fund account named in the Fund ID field.
The Selector ID is the user ID of the library staff making purchase decisions. Typically, this is the login user.
This field contains an item’s main title, using initial capitalization. This field is cataloged using the 245 tag.
