FAQs: Viewing, Modifying, or Canceling Requests through the e-Library
The library user may view, modify, or cancel any request or reply previously sent to the library using the e-Library.
Viewing a Request in the e-Library
To view requests and replies in the e-Library

From the Search/Home page, select My Account. |

Select Review My Account. |
|

Enter your user ID and PIN, then select Display User Information. |

Your bills, checkouts, holds, and requests will appear in the window. |
|
•
|
Under Holds, a list of your current holds and their availability appears. |
|
•
|
You can cancel holds by selecting the check boxes next to the holds, then selecting Cancel Selected Holds. |
|
•
|
If you select Requests/Library Messages on this window, your requests appear in the order they were sent to the library. |
|
•
|
Selecting Full Details next to a request displays the full text of the request. Also, Modify and Cancel buttons appear below the rootbar. |

Selecting Go Back (below the rootbar) returns you to the request list. |
Modifying a Request or Following Up to a Reply in the e-Library
To modify requests or follow up to any library replies in the e-Library

From the Search/Home page, select My Account. |

Select Review My Account. |
|

Enter your user ID and PIN, then select Display User Information. |

Select Requests/Library Messages in this window and a list of your requests will appear. |

Selecting Full Details next to a request displays the full text of the request and the Modify button will appear below the rootbar. |

Select Modify, and a template with the original request text appears. |
|

When you are through modifying the request text, select Edit Request to return to the request list. |
|

If the library has replied to your original request, a new text box, Your Followup, will appear above the original request text. Here, you can respond to the library’s reply, then click Edit Request to send the followup to the library. |
Canceling a Request in the e-Library
To cancel a request in the e-Library

Select Review My Account. |

Enter your user ID and PIN, then select Display User Information. |

Select Requests/Library Messages on this window, and a list of your requests will appear. |

Selecting Full Details next to a request displays the full text of the request. Cancel will appear below the rootbar. |

Selecting Cancel removes the request and returns you to the request list. |
Note: As you remove requests, the number of requests is automatically updated.
