Duplicate Request Wizard
The Duplicate Request wizard creates a new request by copying an existing request record. Request/reply text associated with the existing request record is copied, as well as any associated user and item information. The Request Type is also copied, and the Request Status is set to NEW. You can modify fields in the Duplicate Request wizard.
To duplicate a request

On the Duplicate Request screen, in the Index field, select either Alt ID, Request ID or User ID as your search criteria. |
To further narrow the search, under User Requests, select With Replies, Without Replies, or All.

Click Search, and a list of requests displays. |
Note: The List of Requests displays the following information: Request type, Request ID, Date Placed, Status, User, and Title.

Select the request you want to duplicate and click Continue. |
The Duplicate Request window displays detailed information about the user and the request that was displayed in the Search Request ID list.

In the New Request ID field, type in a new request ID. |

Review the information on the following tabs and make any needed changes. |
After you duplicate an existing request record, select one of the following options.

Modify to confirm changes or make more changes |

Return to List to return to the list of requests |

Another to search another request to duplicate |

•
|
Close to exit the Duplicate Request wizard |
