Distribution Notice Tab
The Distribution Notice tab displays for reports that can be set up to create order distribution notices for selected users. The Distribution Notice tab may or may not include the following selections.
If set in properties to display, the Notices Helper may be available for creating or modifying notice text.

The Count as a Notice Sent option is used to complete an order. The date the order is ”closed” or ”processed” is recorded in the user distribution segment’s Date Delivered field. The default value for this field is NEVER. As long as the Date Delivered field is set to NEVER, the user distribution is considered ”open.” The final processing step for a user distribution changes the Date Delivered field value from NEVER to an actual date. If the User Order Distribution Notice report is run with the Count as a Notice Sent check box selected, the NEVER date is updated to the report run date.
If this check box is selected, the order, orderline, and fiscal cycle information is included with the title information that is printed for each user distribution.
Specifies which address of the library will be printed on the notice. The Primary, Address 1, Address 2, or Address 3 address as defined in the library’s user record can be selected. If no address is selected, the primary address listed in the library’s user record is used.
This selection is available only when the Library Address on Notice check box is selected.
If this check box is selected, the library’s address displays on the notice.
Your library can create the text files that may be selected from the list. The notice text should reflect that the user’s materials are ready to be picked up, or that they are enclosed if the notice will be used as a packing list sent to the user.
