Analyze Oracle Tables Report

The Analyze Oracle Tables (Analyze) report analyzes the data in the database so Oracle can form strategies for the best way to search for a particular record.

The Analyze Oracle Tables report contains the Basic Tab: Reports.

SirsiDynix recommends scheduling this report to run once a week to optimize Oracle’s search strategies.

The Analyze Oracle Tables report is used only in libraries that use the Oracle databases.

This report should be run only after installation is complete, and all of the data has been loaded.

Archive Transaction Selection

Reports that include the Unicorn Version 99 archive transaction selections may include the following selections.

Transaction Start/End Date

The transaction start/end date range is used to specify the dates that the transactions to be selected were performed. Use the Date Range gadget to select a Transaction Start/End Date range.

User ID

The user ID selection allows you to select hyperion transactions (requests only) that contain the specified user ID(s). Use the Display User gadget to select user IDs. The maximum number of user IDs that may be selected is 100.

Note: The maximum length of any argument is 330 characters.
