Route Search Gadget

This gadget allows you to select an outreach route ID for a field.

To use the Route Search gadget

Click the Route Search gadget.

In the Search For field, type the text to be used to search for an existing outreach route record.

In the Index field, select Route ID to search by route ID, or select Route Name to search by route name.

To restrict the route search to a certain library or library group, select the library's name or library group name in the Library list.

Under Type, select the type of search you want to use to locate outreach route records.

•

Search locates outreach route records that contain the text specified in the Search For field.

•

Browse produces a list of outreach route records in the alphabetic vicinity of the text specified in the Search For field.

•

Exact locates a single outreach route record that matches the text specified in the Search For field.

Click Search to begin your search.

In the route search results, the route ID and route name are shown for each retrieved route. Do one of the following.

•

Double-click the route you want to select. The Route Search gadget closes, and the selected route ID displays in the field.

•

Select the route you want to select, and click Select. The Route Search gadget closes, and the selected route ID displays in the field.

•

Select a route, and click Display Route. Information from the outreach route record displays. You can click Select to select the route, or click Return to List to return to the list of routes.

•

Click Close to close the Route Search gadget without selecting a route.
