Data Control Role Wizard

The Data Control Role policy defines SirsiDynix Symphony Data Control permissions for Symphony users who are allowed to sign in to Symphony Data Control. Specifically, this policy determines which features a given user has access to, which Symphony database tables they can edit, and in what manner they are allowed to edit database entries from those tables.

SirsiDynix Symphony Data Control accesses Data Control Role policies from the Symphony server. In Symphony Data Control, you can assign a policy (or policies) to a user within the Allowed Users section in the Admin Configuration to determine that user's Symphony Data Control permissions.

For information about the SirsiDynix Symphony Data Control Admin Configuration, see the "Fields: Admin Configuration" topic of the SirsiDynix Symphony Data Control Help.

From the List Policies window, you can create, display, modify, copy, or remove the Data Control policies. Click Close to exit the wizard.
