Replace User Data with Smart Card Data Window
This window opens when the Replace with Smart Card Data property is enabled in the Modify User wizard/helper or User Lost Card wizard/helper.
Updating a user record with Smart Card data

Scan a patron’s Smart Card, and the data from the Smart Card will automatically populate and/or replace the user information fields in the patron’s user record. |

If the current user information differs from the information embedded in the Smart Card, an alert dialog box displays, requesting that you verify that this is the correct user record. |

Click OK, and the Replace User Data with Smart Card Data windows opens. In this window, the user record fields that differ display in red along with corresponding check boxes. By default, all check boxes are selected. |
Clear the check boxes for the fields you do not want updated with Smart Card data. Or, you can select the Unmark All check box to clear all check boxes.

Click OK to close this window. |

Click Save in the wizard to save the updated user information. |
