FAQs: How do I change an item’s ID if the item’s barcode is damaged or missing?

You can use the Item Search helper without leaving the Change Item ID wizard to search for the item record when the item’s barcode cannot be scanned.

If the barcode is not missing, but is damaged and no longer readable by the barcode reader, type the barcode that displays on the label to identify the item.
