Adding and Editing UNIMARC and Other Format Coded Fields
UNIMARC records and records that have fields with controlled vocabularies contain coded fields. Coded fields differ from other entries in that the structure of these fields is defined. For more information about coded fields, go to the IFLANET Concise UNIMARC Classification Format Web page (http://archive.ifla.org/VI/8/unimarc-concise-bibliographic-format-2008.pdf).
In SirsiDynix Symphony, the coded fields are delivered for the catalog and authority formats. The following is a list of coded fields for the catalog formats.

Copy – Makes a duplicate of the selected data and places it in the Clipboard |
|
•
|
Paste – Pastes data from the Clipboard into the current location |
Keep in mind that you can only cut, copy, and paste information from one tag at a time.
