Why are warnings displaying when I preview budget transfers?

Warnings may display when previewing the budget transfers. These warnings display in the following instances.

•

A destination fund does not exist.

•

A destination fund does not exist in the specified fiscal cycle/library.

•

The same fund ID/fiscal cycle is being used as both the source and destination.

•

Block overencumbrances is No, and the encumbrance allowed percentage for the source fund will be exceeded by the transfer.

•

Block overexpenditure is No, and the expenditure allowed percentage for the source fund will be exceeded by the transfer.

Why are some budget amounts may not transferred?

System messages will display and no preview will be shown in the following instances.

•

The total amount of the transfer is more than the budget amount of the source fund.

•

Block overencumbrance is Yes, and the encumbrance allowed percentage will be exceeded by the transfer.

•

Block overexpenditure is Yes, and the expenditure allowed percentage will be exceeded by the transfer.
