Modify Reserve Wizard
The Modify Reserve wizard is used to make changes to the reserve control record and individual instructor/course reserve information.
To modify a reserve record

Click the Modify Reserve wizard. |

In the Item ID box, scan the item’s ID or identify the item by selecting another type of search. |
|

Review the reserve information displayed in each tab, and make changes as needed. |
|
4
|
Click Modify or Enter to save the changes. |
After you have modified the reserve, select one of the following options:

|
Modify to make more changes to this reserve item |
|
•
|
Another to modify another reserve item |
|
•
|
Close to exit the wizard |
Editing Reserve Records Globally
If you search by instructor or course, global edit field values may display. Under Global Edit Field Values, you can modify instructor ID, course ID, expiration date, and stage in the displayed reserve records.
To edit reserve records globally

Under Global Edit Field Values, select the fields you want to edit from the following options. |

|
Instructors ID – contains the instructor’s user ID. |
|
•
|
Expires (M/D/Y) – contains date that individual copies can be released from the Reserve Desk. |
|
•
|
Course ID – contains the course identification of the course number. |
|
•
|
Stage – controls whether or not the instructor and course display in the Reserve Desk list in the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). |

In the List of Reserves, under Modify, click All or Selected. If you click Selected, select the Modify check box next to each reserve record you want to modify. |

Important Considerations When Using this Wizard

If a current record exists for the item, click the Current record button to access the last record displayed, modified, or added. |
|
•
|
If a Reserve Desk has not yet been selected in your WorkFlows session, a message displays to select a Reserve Desk. Click OK to close the message, and then select Reserve Desk settings in the Session Settings wizard. |
|
•
|
If you entered the item ID manually, click Get Reserve Information to display item information. If the item has any exceptions, a status alert may display. |
|
•
|
You can sort listed individual reserves in ascending or descending order. To do this, click the column heading of the column you want to sort. |
