FAQs: Modifying Reserve Information
If I want to place an item on reserve again in the future, can I just change the status and not remove the reserve information?
Yes. If a copy is being taken off reserve but will be needed again in the future for a reserve, you can simply change the individual reserve record and reserve copy status. Reserve records for materials needed periodically should not be removed even though the items are returned to their home location.
You should remove reserve records for materials only needed once.

If an item is shelved at the Reserve Desk, how do I put it on reserve and remove it from reserve?
If an item is frequently put on reserve (for example, three terms out of four), you may decide to shelve it at the Reserve Desk to ensure copies are readily available when they are requested for reserves. When an item is on reserve, the reserve circulation rule is in effect. When the item is not on reserve, the normal circulation rule for the item applies even though the item is physically charged and discharged from the Reserve Desk.
