Display Legal Class Subfields Gadget
The Display Legal Class Subfields gadget provides a graphic alternative for entering subfields to include in the entry ID.
To use this gadget, follow these steps.

Click the Basic tab for an entry. |

In the Valid Subfields box, click the Display Legal Class Subfields gadget.  |

Three columns appear: Subfield, Valid, and Repeatable. |

A list of all possible subfields displays for this entry in the Subfield column. |

In the Valid column, select the check boxes for subfields that are valid for this entry. |

|
In the Repeatable column, select the check box if the valid subfield may occur more than once in an entry. |
It is possible to select subfields that are not valid for a specified entry ID. Refer to your format policies or your record format documentation to determine valid subfields for each entry ID.
This attribute is used only if the system is configured for format validation and will only display if the format is MARC21.
