Change Item ID Helper

The Change Item ID Helper is used to replace a missing, damaged, or temporary barcode while you are using a wizard. You can customize the Change Item ID Helper by setting its properties.

To change an item ID

Click the Change Item ID helper.

Use the Item Search helper to find the item of the ID you want to replace or click Current if you want to change the item on display. When a list of items displays, select the item you want, and then click Change Item ID.

In the New item ID box, scan the item’s new ID and click Modify.

This will update the record and return you to either the Inventory Item or Mail Items wizard. The item you just modified will appear at the top of the List of Items with the new Item ID.
