Cascade Subfields Gadget
The Cascade Subfields gadget provides a graphic alternative for specifying a list of subfields to be dropped for authority control matching purposes. All alphabetic and numeric subfields display. The list of subfields to choose from is totally dependent on what is defined in the Valid Subfields attribute in the Basic tab of an entry.
To create a subfield list

On the Authority tab of a MARC21 format entry, select the authority variation to be modified, and the current attribute values will display. |

Click the Cascade Subfields gadget.  |

Click All to include all subfields. |

Or, click Exclude and select the check boxes for the subfields to be excluded. |
