Calendar Gadget
The Calendar gadget is used to select a date. The gadget options may vary depending how the date is used by the wizard or report, and whether or not you are using the gadget in Offline WorkFlows wizards.
To select a date in WorkFlows wizards and reports

Click the Calendar gadget.  |

Do one of the following, depending on how you want to use the gadget and the options that are available. |

Select No Date if no date is required. This option is mainly available in wizards. Selecting this option will cause the text NEVER to appear in the date field. |
|

Select Specific Date to select a particular date. Select the month you want using the left browse or right browse buttons, and click the correct day on the calendar. Selecting this option will cause a specific date to appear in the date field. |

Select Today to select the current date. This option is available mainly in reports that load bibliographic records and in acquisition wizards. Selecting this option will cause the text Today to appear in the date field. |

Select NEVER if no date is required. This option is mainly available in reports. Selecting this option will cause the text NEVER to appear in the date field. |

Select No Change if the date field should not be modified. This option is available mainly in reports that load bibliographic records and in acquisition wizards. Selecting this option will cause the text No Change to appear in the date field. |

Click OK to return to the wizard or report. |
Offline WorkFlows Calendar Gadget
To select a date in Offline WorkFlows wizards

Click the Calendar gadget. |

Under Date, select the month you want using the left browse button or right browse button. |

Click the correct day on the calendar, and click OK. |

If a Time option displays, click the up and down arrow buttons to select an hour, minute, or AM/PM preference   , and click OK. |
For the Calendar gadgets, you can configure the date display format by clicking the Preference menu, selecting Desktop, then selecting Desktop Setup. Select one of the Display Date Format options to display the date based on the server date type setting in the SirsiDynix Symphony configuration file, or to display the date in American (MM/DD/YYYY), Arabic (Hijri), Asian (YYYY/MM/DD), or European (DD/MM/YYYY) format.
