Add Brief Title Helper
The Add Brief Title Helper is used when you need to circulate a book that has not been fully cataloged. Default values for title and item fields can be set through the Add Brief Title helper’s properties.
To add a brief title
| 1 | Click the Add Brief Title helper. |
| 2 | Under Title Info, select the personal author and title (title is a required field). |
| 3 | Under Call Number and Copy Info, change the fields as needed. |
| 4 | Click Add Brief Title. |
Users can only create call numbers and items for libraries in their Call Number Maintenance and Item Maintenance library groups.
When using the Checkout wizard, this helper cannot be used to modify call numbers.
