Ad Hoc Sale Helper

Click the Ad Hoc Sale helper from the Cash Management Wizard to add an ad hoc item to the transaction.

To add an ad hoc item to the current transaction

Click the Ad Hoc Sale helper.

Enter an item description in the Description field, if desired.

Note: The maximum length of the description is 140 characters.

Enter the unit price in the Unit Price field (for example, 1.75, $1.75, .50, or $.50).

Enter the quantity of the ad hoc item being purchased in the Quantity field.

Select an item type policy from the Item Type drop-down list. This attribute determines how the item(s) will be taxed and how the transaction will be reported in the Till Summary Wizard and the Cash Management End of Day Report.

Note: Only item type policies with an enabled Saleable attribute display in the Item Type drop-down list. For more information on item type policies, see the Item Type Wizard help topic.

Click Save to add the item(s) to the transaction.
