Update Database Tab

Typically, users can choose from two options, Test mode - no update and Update.
The Test mode - no update option provides the opportunity to run a report that can change your database without actually changing data first, to ensure that the appropriate records are selected for the update. It is recommended that you always run a report without updating records before running the report to update.

If the radio button for Test mode - no update is selected, the report runs without changing any records. This option is selected by default.

If the radio button for Update is selected, the records in your database are modified as determined by the report function.

For the Remove Users report, this tab also displays options for the report results. These options are Print records ineligible for removal and Print records eligible for removal. They are available for both test mode and update.

If the checkbox for Print records ineligible for removal is selected, the report includes all records that are not removed when running the report

If the checkbox for Print records eligible for removal is selected, the report includes all records that are removed when running the report

•

If both of these are unselected, no information will be printed on the report and only the log will give any information about the report.
