URL Checker Selection Tab
The URL Checker Selection tab contains options for the report to include or exclude URLs, bibliographic records, and holding records. This tab may contain any of the following fields.

Include Bibliographic Records?
Select this check box if you want to report the bibliographic records linked to the URLs.
Select this check box if you want to report the holdings records linked to the URLs.
Select one of the following options to specify which URLs are to be selected by the report for verification.
| • | Alphabetic selects only URLs that contain alphabetic characters exclusively. This option is selected by default. |
| • | Non-alphabetic selects only URLs that contain non-alphabetic characters exclusively. |
| • | All selects URLs that contain alphabetic characters, non-alphabetic characters, or a combination of alphabetic and non-alphabetic characters. |
Use this option to select only the URLs within the specified alphabetic range for verification. This option can be used only when Alphabetic is selected for the Include URLs option.
For example, to have the report verify only the URLs that begin with an alphabetic character between A through G, select Alphabetic in the URL option, type A in the text box to the right of the Starts With option, and type G in the text box to the right of Through.
In the URLs to Exclude box, you can select a list of particular URLs that should be excluded. Using the String List gadget, you can enter an asterisk after a domain name to exclude all of the URLs associated with a particular domain name. The report assumes the http:// prefix so that you may or may not add the prefix when creating the list of URLs to exclude. The report does not assume the leading ”www” text in the web site name.
