Display Report Scheduler Status Helper
The Display Report Scheduler Status helper displays information about a report that is currently running. The Display Report Scheduler Status helper is available in the Schedule New Reports wizard, the Scheduled Reports wizard, and the Finished Reports wizard.
When the report scheduler is active and a scheduled report runs, the report does not appear in the list of scheduled reports. Selecting the Display Report Scheduler Status helper causes the Display Status window to appear and show the following message.
The report scheduler is currently running.Below the message is a list of reports that are running. The report name appears in the Report Name column. The date and time the report began running display in the Began Running column. If the user login viewing the scheduler status is an Administrator user, the report owner’s name also displays in the Owner column. When the report finishes, it appears in the finished reports list, and can be accessed with the Finished Reports wizard.
If the report scheduler is not running, the report displays on the scheduled reports list. However, the report will not be run or display on the finished reports list until the report scheduler is active and running again. Selecting the Display Report Scheduler Status helper when the report scheduling is not running causes the Display Status window to appear and show the following message.
The report scheduler is not running. If the report scheduler status indicates that a report other than yours is running, your recently scheduled report may be delayed because SirsiDynix Symphony is configured to run only one report at a time.
If no reports are currently running, the Display Status window shows the following message.
There are no reports running.Note Windows Servers cannot be configured to run concurrent reports.
