Unsuspend Reason Wizard
Some libraries prefer to suspend a user’s loan privileges when overdue materials are returned rather than assess overdue fines, and they use the Suspend User wizard to accomplish this task. Sometimes, a user’s suspension should be waived or forgiven. The Unsuspend User wizard removes user suspensions. A reason for unsuspension must be provided when removing a user suspension. The following unsuspend reasons are delivered, and should not be removed.
• | Suspension Cancelled (CANCEL) |
• | Suspension Forgiven (FORGIVEN) |
Unsuspension records for users are retained, and each unsuspension record will have an unsuspend reason.
You can define additional reasons for unsuspension using the Unsuspend Reason wizard which is found in the Circulation Configuration group. From the List Policies window, you can create, display, modify, copy, or remove the Unsuspend Reason policies. Click Close to exit the wizard.
