Display of User Preferred ID Field
The Display of User Preferred ID Field policy is a Global Configuration policy that is read by the WorkFlows client at startup and stored as a global variable. This policy determines whether or not the Preferred ID displays within the Modify User wizard.
The Display Of User Preferred ID Field policy appears on the User Information tab of the Global Configuration wizard. The default value for this policy appears in the Select a Policy window. To modify this value, select Display Of User Preferred ID Field and click Modify. Click a radio button to select one of the policy attributes. Click Save to save your selection. The default value is Display User Preferred ID.
This policy is not available on ISAM systems, as the preferred ID is not supported on ISAM systems.

Do Not Display User Preferred ID
Click this radio button to hide the Preferred ID field so it does not display within the Modify User wizard.
Click this radio button to display the Preferred ID field within the Modify User wizard.
