Card Reader Device Type Wizard
The Card Reader Device Type policy is used to identify peripheral card reader devices. This policy is used by third-party payment services available via BLUEcloud Commerce functionality to determine whether the model of the card reader device is supported by that payment service. If the card reader device model is supported, the payment service can accept card payments.
From the List Policies window, you can create, display, modify, copy, or remove the Card Reader Device Type policies. Click Close to exit the wizard.
Attributes
The Card Reader Device Type wizard displays the following attributes.

This attribute uniquely identifies a specific Card Reader Device Type policy. The name can be up to ten characters long and can include dashes (-), underscores (_), and dollar signs ($), but may not include spaces, punctuation, or pipe (|) characters.
This attribute provides more information about the policy and its use by the library. The description may be up to 60 characters in length. Although the Description attribute may contain spaces and punctuation, the pipe character (|) cannot be used.
This attribute specifies the name of the card reader device. The third-party payment service checks this attribute to determine whether it supports the card reader device model.
At this time, ProPay is the only payment service that the BLUEcloud Commerce functionality uses. ProPay supports only one model of mag stripe reader for BLUEcloud Commerce, which is the MagTek Dynamag Card Reader. Your library must obtain these devices directly from ProPay; contact ProPay if you want to obtain these devices for your library.
The only valid value for this field is MagTekDynamag.
