Uploading item IDs
The Upload Item IDs helper lets you quickly add a set of items from a list of item IDs in a plain text file. The file must be in plain text format and contain only the item ID numbers, not the title, library, or any other information about the item. Each item ID must be on a separate line.
When you upload item IDs, the corresponding items are added directly to the Item List, replacing any items currently in the list. If you want to add the uploaded items to another list of items, either save the lists as individual groups and merge the groups together, or upload the items IDs first, then perform a search for the additional items and add them from the results to the list of uploaded items.

The Item Search window opens. The top pane contains the item search fields. Below it is the Result List and below that is the Item List. The Item List constitutes the items that can be edited together or that can be saved as a group for editing.
Note: The Item/Group Search helper ( ) toggles between the Item Search and Group Search windows. You can configure the Item Group Editor wizard to open to the Group Search window instead of the Item Search window. For more information, see Item Group Editor Wizard Properties.

WorkFlows locates the items from item IDs in the file and lists them in the Item List. From the Item List you can create a new group including these items, search for additional items to add to the list, or edit the items as a set.
Note: WorkFlows places any uneditable items that were included in the file in the top (results) list. These items cannot be included in a group because they cannot be edited.
