Add Fund Wizard
The Add Fund wizard guides you through the process of creating a master fund record.
To create a new fund

Click the Add Fund wizard. |

Click the Fund Information Tab and type a new Fund ID or select AUTO from the list. If nothing is typed, an automatic ID will be assigned. Your system must have auto-generated IDs for funds defined in order to use the automatic ID feature. The maximum length for this field is 20 characters. |
Note: Fund IDs must not contain spaces.

Type a Name, Account Number, and the Fund Levels according to your library’s practices. |

Click the Fund Cycle Information Tab. The Fiscal field displays the fiscal cycle selected in Session Settings. In the Budget Amount field, type an amount or select NOLIMIT. Make selections for the other fund cycle fields. |

Click Create Fund, and a Record Created dialog box appears. |
After creating a fund, you can click one of the following options.

Modify Fund after you make changes to the new fund |
|
•
|
Create Another Fund to add another new fund |
|
•
|
Close to exit the Add Fund wizard |
A fund and fund cycle for the fiscal cycle defined in Session Settings is created whether or not you actively enter Budget Cycle information at this time.
